Oh, lovely! You are so far ahead of us on this spring thing. My poppies are up but not anywhere near ready to bloom. Not even buds yet!
Well, those huge poppies are not the traditional sort, so perhaps they bloom earlier in the season?
Also, I suspect that local flora need to hurry and make the most out of the British summer, which typically falls on a weekend 😉
Lol that is how our summer works, too, but spring was so cold and long! I expect everything will bloom at once. I have some pink oriental poppies that I hope will be as striking as those orange ones when they bloom!
